six weeks in, 48 years old 190lb 5'10" rowed a bit when i was younger. lived a very sedentary life in the past 17 years.
doing 2000m 4 mornings a week. consistently between 21:00 - 22:00 at 27 - 30 spm so have plenty of work ahead of me. HR at 164+ and sometimes I feel like I might not survive. no puking yet though!

would appreciate feedback on technique. clearly i need to come up the slide further to the catch. any thoughts on hanging longer and opening with the back a little later?

So I'm trying to read an article on Al Jazeera, and every time I've loaded it a malware and takes over the window. I can't "back" into the article, necessitating a window closing.

If I wait for the article and force-stop the load, no issues. I've seen this behavior on a few sites each week - all medium-name sites that would not be compromised, so why is this happening? I'm having a brand new phone without known malware installed.

Is this just poor advertisment screening on these sites?

Ive been playing trumpet (on and off) for around 7 years. Recently, ive been practising more and devoting more time for music, joining more ensembles etc. Ive noticed that i do have a tuning problem. Whenever i play beside another trumpet player, i feel that im always out of tune. I reckon the problem lies with me because it happens no matter who i sit beside with. I begin practising with a tuner. Play a Concert Bb, in tune, mouthpiece away from my chops. I put it back and play and it's out of tune again. Everytime i start a note, it's a different tuning.I identify this tuning problem that im facing could be due to 3 reasons. 1st, my emborchure is weak. 2nd, my attack is inconsistent and lastly, bec MY EAR SUCK.This is also perhaps i m not able to hear the note that i want to play and the "center of the pitch" problem.Anyone ever encounter tuning problems as serious as well and managed to curb it? I would appreciate if someone provides some solutions for me on how to improve my tuning.

I recently purchased an inTune I-1000 and flashed the standard DiabloSport tune onto my 2006 Impala SS with the 5.3L Ls4 motor. Once I reached cruising speed, the car would randomly lurch forward as if down shifting from time to time(mainly as a was letting off the gas pedal). Are there adjustments i can make to eliminate that? I had to restore the vehicle as a result.

Please help.
