A hybrid of a skeleton watch and a sports watch
Ulysse Nardin entered the diving world long before any other brand, creating the first waterproof watch in 1893, launching its first diver's watch in 1964, and releasing the Aqua Perpetual in 2001, the only diver's watch with a perpetual calendar and water-resistant to 200 meters. In 2021, Ulysse Nardin revolutionized the industry with the launch of the Diver X Skeleton, seamlessly integrating skeleton technology with a professional dive watch. The release of the Diver [AIR] at the 2025 Watches & Wonders exhibition took this vision to new heights.
Now, this pioneering spirit lives on in the Diver [AIR] Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition, a skeletonized haute horlogerie sports watch that blends architectural beauty with mechanical sophistication.
The minimalist, vibrant blue skeleton dial, with rhodium-plated hour markers and black hands, coated in vibrant blue Super-LumiNova®, embodies both Seddiqi's 75-year heritage and Ulysse Nardin's mastery of modern design. All iconic elements, from the dial and crown guard to the Super-LumiNova® coating on the second hand, the hour markers on the CarbonFoil bezel, the elastic strap, and the side plates, are finished in the same distinctive vibrant blue hue, giving the watch a striking and unified look.
The World's Lightest Mechanical Diving Watch
The Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition seamlessly blends extreme performance with refined aesthetics. Water-resistant to 200 meters, it meets the stringent standards of a professional diver's watch while maintaining exceptional lightness and shock resistance.
Powered by the in-house UN-374 movement, comprised of 90% recycled titanium, this watch features an oversized silicon balance wheel, an upgraded silicon escapement, and a 90-hour power reserve. This watch embodies the pioneering spirit of Ulysse Nardin: stronger, sleeker, and lighter. Based on the Diver X Skeleton UN-372 movement, this movement has been redesigned for enhanced strength, precision, and lightness. To achieve the Diver [AIR]'s record weight of just 52 grams (including strap), both the movement and case were meticulously reduced and optimized, ensuring no compromise in performance or reliability.
The open mineral glass caseback reveals the skeletonized movement and features a personalized 75th anniversary inscription, a discreet yet significant tribute to the Seddiqi brand's milestone year. The watch comes with two straps: a bright blue elastic fabric strap with a scratch-resistant buckle; and a white rubber strap secured with a black ceramic and black PVD titanium folding clasp. The Diver [AIR] Seddiqi is comfortable, versatile, and ultra-light, combining exceptional performance with elegance.
Innovation Lab
Creating the world's lightest mechanical diver's watch involves more than just removing metal; it means reimagining materials from the inside out. The Diver [AIR] Seddiqi 75th Anniversary Edition builds on two decades of Ulysse Nardin innovation in advanced materials, blending lightness, strength, and sustainability. Crafted from 90% recycled titanium and featuring an upcycled silicon escapement and balance spring, this watch embodies cutting-edge watchmaking expertise. Its 44mm case features a 90% recycled titanium middle case, Nylo®-Foil side panels (60% recycled fishing net, 40% upcycled carbon fiber), and a CarbonFoil bezel crafted from 100% upcycled carbon fiber. A feat of precise and responsible engineering, the Diver [AIR] Seddiqi transforms high technology into lightness, proving that innovation and sustainability can coexist at the highest levels.
