A crowd gathered outside of Hong Kong’s Polytechnic University campus in Hung Hom on November 25, calling Online Cigarettes Store USA for an end to the police siege of the school, where groups of student protesters still remain barricaded.
The crowd included some of Hong Kong’s newly elected pro-democracy councilors, who marched toward the university and attempted to open a dialogue with police and visit the students.
This footage shows the crowds chanting and heckling nearby police lines.
According to the South China Morning Post, quoting Chief Superintendent Ho Yun-sing, police made the concession Newport Cigarettes Shop that they would enter the campus but avoid making immediate arrests, instead offering medical treatment to the remaining protesters and assessing arrests on an individual basis.
Polytechnic University became a major standoff site between protesters and police on November 18, with bridges linking the campus to a nearby metro station set on fire and the South China Morning Post calling the area a “war zone.” President Donald Trump has declared an end to the so-called war on Christmas again ― but apparently a new war’s being waged against Thanksgiving.
During his campaign rally in Sunrise, Florida, on Tuesday night, the president reiterated that he had defeated those who Cheap Newport 100s cigarettes do not use the term “Christmas.” This time, though, he added that he was moving on to tackle a new holiday.
“You know, some people want to change the name ‘Thanksgiving.’ They don’t want to use the term ‘Thanksgiving.’ And that was true also with Christmas, but now everybody’s using Christmas again,” he said to wild cheers.
