front-runner but Kareem Hunt Antworten

NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Jets made a big move to get a big man to bolster their offensive line. Two people with direct knowledge of the trade told The Associated Press that the Jets agreed Sunday to acquire two-time Pro Bowl left guard Kelechi Osemele from the Oakland Raiders. The deal includes the Jets sending their fifth-round draft pick to the Raiders for Oakland’s sixth-rounder Jordan Scarlett Jersey , according to one of the people who spoke to The AP on condition of anonymity because the trade can’t be completed until the new league year starts Wednesday.ESPN first reported the trade for Osemele, with Bay Area News Group first reporting the terms. The deal is the second by the Raiders in less than 24 hours. They agreed Saturday to acquire receiver Antonio Brown in a trade with Pittsburgh. The 6-foot-5, 330-pound Osemele fills a major need on the Jets’ offensive line in front of quarterback Sam Darnold. Starting left guard James Carpenter is scheduled to become a free agent after an injury-shortened season. Carpenter spent the past four seasons with New York after playing in Seattle for four and helping the Seahawks win the Super Bowl in 2014.But the Jets appeared ready to move on from Carpenter, who turns 30 later this month and is coming off a shoulder injury that limited him to 10 games last season.New York, which entered the offseason with question marks on its offensive line at center and left guard David Montgomery Jersey , is re-signing Jonotthan Harrison, who started the final seven games at center when Spencer Long struggled with injuries and consistency. But it’s uncertain whether Harrison is in new coach Adam Gase’s plans as the starter moving forward. Long was released last month after just one season with the Jets and has since signed with Buffalo.Meanwhile, the Raiders save $10.2 million on their salary cap by dealing Osemele, who turns 30 in June. He is also due $11.7 million next season, but none of the remaining salary includes guaranteed money.Osemele was a second-round pick of Baltimore in 2012 and he started every game at right tackle as a rookie before moving to left guard to replace the injured Jah Reid in the postseason. He was limited to seven games the following year because of a back injury Riley Ridley Jersey , but started 28 games over the next two seasons for the Ravens. He signed a five-year, $58.5 million deal with Oakland in 2016 and made the Pro Bowl in each of his first two years with the Raiders. Osemele’s performance dropped last season as he dealt with toe and knee injuries that limited him to 11 games.Raiders coach Jon Gruden and first-year general manager Mike Mayock made an even bigger splash Saturday night when they swung the deal to acquire the prolific but disgruntled Brown.Oakland will sign Brown to a new three-year deal with the Raiders that will pay him $50.125 million instead of the $38.925 million he was owed by the Steelers. The deal also includes $30 million guaranteed, compared to none remaining in his old deal. It also gives Derek Carr the best offensive weapon he has had in Oakland since entering the league in 2014. The Vikings will be the first team to play a Super Bowl at home.Case Keenum, who became the starter when Sam Bradford was injured and still has to answer questions about possibly losing his job to Teddy Bridgewater, is poised to do what Daunte Culpepper and Randall Cunningham couldn’t do.Keenum had another solid performance and the defense shut down a high-powered offense in an impressive 14-9 victory at Atlanta. Then Minnesota (10-2) jumped into the top spot in the NFC when Seattle beat Philadelphia (10-2).The Vikings are close to securing the NFC North. Getting home-field advantage throughout the playoffs only enhances their chances of hosting the Super Bowl. But they still have to get through tough teams with better quarterbacks. Minnesota’s defense is outstanding and Keenum has been excellent. In a big game Greedy Williams Jersey , though, Keenum or Drew Brees? Keenum or Russell Wilson? Keenum or Carson Wentz? The Vikings could end up with the No.1 seed and lose a home game in the playoffs. Their fans have seen that before so slow down on those Super Bowl plans. Here are more overreactions following Week 13:——OVERREACTION: Josh Gordon will save the Browns (0-12) from going winless.REALISTIC REACTION: Four catches for 84 yards in his first NFL game since 2014 doesn’t suggest he’ll make enough impact to prevent Cleveland from losing out.——OVERREACTION: Andy Reid has lost control of the team. Too many costly penalties cost the Chiefs (6-6) in a loss to the Jets (5-7).REALISTIC REACTION: Lost control is too harsh, but the team lacks discipline.——OVERREACTION: The Patriots (10-2) don’t need Tom Brady to win. Brady had no TDs and one interception and New England still routed Buffalo 23-3.REALISTIC REACTION: Brady completed 21 of 30 for 258 yards. He wasn’t great, but effective.——OVERREACTION: Jimmy Garoppolo is the answer for San Francisco. He led the 49ers (2-10) to a comeback win in his first start.REALISTIC REACTION: Garoppolo could become a franchise QB, but beating the Bears isn’t too impressive.——OVERREACTION: Look out for the Ravens (7-5) because their offense is hitting its stride.REALISTIC REACTION: Losing cornerback Jimmy Smith is a big blow to the defense Sione Takitaki Jersey , and one solid performance by the offense isn’t convincing.——OVERREACTION: Alvin Kamara locked up Rookie of the Year honors with an excellent game against the Panthers.REALISTIC REACTION: He’s the front-runner but Kareem Hunt and Leonard Fournette are still in the race.——OVERREACTION: Losing Aaron Rodgers was a blessing for the Packers (6-6) because it allowed them to work on their run game.REALISTIC REACTION: Rodgers is a future Hall of Famer. Enough said.——OVERREACTION: The Chargers (6-6) will win the AFC West.REALISTIC REACTION: They’re on a roll but it’s a three-team with the Raiders (6-6) and Chiefs and no real favorite.——OVERREACTION: All the Giants needed to be competitive was to bench Eli Manning.REALISTIC REACTION: No one other than Ben McAdoo would’ve started Geno Smith over Manning and now McAdoo is gone.——OVERREACTION: Beast Mode is back. Marshawn Lynch had a 51-yard touchdown run and his first 100-yard rushing game since coming out of retirement.REALISTIC REACTION: The Raiders need to keep giving him the ball.——OVERREACTION: The Legion of Boom is back. The Seahawks held the highest-scoring offense to only 10 points in a 24-10 victory over Philadelphia.REALISTIC REACTION: Seattle’s defense was ferocious, but penalties and sloppy play by Wentz cost the Eagles. Plus, no one can replace Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor.——
